The whole family came down to visit us this weekend! They all converged on our little town to see a very important play. Savannah was starring in "The Emporer's New Clothes"!! We appreciated it so much that the whole family was here to support her. She did such an amazing job, and we could not have been more proud. She seemed absolutely fearless. Aunt Thomasina took the pictures, so as soon as she sends me a few, I'll post them here.
After the play, everyone came back to our house for dessert and coffee. As always, just a great time hanging out with the family.
After church today we went snow tubing with a bunch of people from church. We had a blast!

Way to go, Savannah!!! That must have meant so much to have the whole family's support! The tubing pictures looked great...what fun! And the mountain views...sigh...so beautiful.
I'm going to try to get a comment on your blog again. Maybe I'll get it right this time.
We had such a wonderful time Saturday. Savannah's performance was just unbelievable. You'd think she's been acting her whole life; no nervousness, no forgetting lines. Just perfection!! It might be because she's my grand-daughter, but, I think she played her part better than anyone else.
The stew you fixed us for lunch was delicious( I'll need that recipe), and the desserts were scrumptious. Your daddy ONLY HAD 3.
We really enjoyed being with everyone again. Looks like you had a great time snow-tubing. You and Savannah look like models.
Love, Mom
Congratulations to Savannah, way to go. We have talked about going snow tubing so many times and haven't made it there, after seeing the pictures we may have to make the effort. We are only about 20 minutes from Bryce so we wouldn't have to go far. Desserts my favorite, oh how I am missing desserts. 7 pounds in the last 2 weeks so I guess I will skip a couple more desserts.
Savannah was so great! And I agree with Mom, she was the best one up there.
Thanks for having all of us over on Saturday. It was all really great (although, I am hearing rumor of a stew that I missed!!).
Hope to see you guys again soon!
