BUT. We've had alot of things to celebrate as well.
Below is Austin about to receive his blue belt in Jiu Jitsu from Pedro Sauer, after a grueling 5 HOURS!!! WAY to Go Austin! We are so proud, and I know that that new blue belt feels GREAT!
Here you see Jackson wearing the mighty #32, as worn by Race all the way to college. Jackson has really found his groove in football. He is at defensive tight end, and LOVING it. He is now on first string defense! And they've made it to the championships. Go Bruins!
As I said Race is home. We all headed to the beach for a week to spend time with Mom, Dad, and the whole family. Take a look at this car!! It's still painted up from Jack's football game!
Race took us over to the sound side to kayak. It was amazing. We had an awesome time, and it was so great to see how independent the kids have become. Sometimes it just feels so good to take a step back and just.......watch.

Except for the pictures that Em took of us wiping out in an ocean kayak on the OTHER side of the island, this is the only record of me actually attending this vacation.Thanks, Race.

I knew Race had to be home, it sounds like you all have been really enjoying each other. I too, have to catch up, maybe I will take your lead and post alot of pictures. The pictures are great!

I am WAYYYY behind too! I STILL haven't posted W's first day of school (almost 2 month ago!).
Vacation was great! Best one ever!! And for the record, the only pics I have of the "sea" kayak are of Race biting it :)
