We are having an amazing time, and I am starting to get my bearings in this city. I have been able to take the kids around by myself some now. I have realized that when I come into unfamiliar surroundings, that's how I do it: I start SMALL, and gradually widen my comfort zone as I go! We are al really thankful for good shoes!
We have made a lot of friends here, as everyone has been incredibly warm and welcoming and they have been SO helpful with the language barrier, too.
The kids are enjoying themselves completely. Everything from the sights, to the food, right down to the Russian cleaning lady who cleans their room every day. She doesn't speak a word of English, but WOW, she is wonderful. The hotel staff has really gone out of their way to make the kids feel right at home.
G'night
Melissa
