So, go ahead, weigh in. What do you think??
I started this blog to keep the husband/father of this happy home up to speed with what goes on here while he is off making the world a safer place. We will refer to him as "Race" (You know..Race Bannon... from Johnny Quest?). We are Christian in our religion, and conservative, in our politics. We home school our guinea pigs,-er- I mean , our kids. Our life is not "the norm", but, with Divine Grace, we're makin' it work, and usually having a good time in the process!

We like it. You look like a cross between Daphne (from Frasier) and Elizabeth Hurley. Not Carley Bobby, but still, way before closing hot. I love it! You've got to have one of the kids take a shot from farther away, though, so we can get the "whole" perspective. :-)
YAY YOU!!! And just where did you get that pigmentation, I must ask? It's the middle of February, and I know *I* look like a recently immigrated Laplander...

Wow! I really like it but didn't immediately know it was you. What fun!!!
I love it, I think it turned out great. You always did tan so good, but do I sense a little help from a tanning bed?
I bet your recent overseas vacation helped with tanning.
Bangs always make me look like I'm 12 but I really like them on you! The color and your skin tone go great together.
I really like it. I thought Dy was saying "Daphne" from Scooby Doo for a minute ROFL You do look a little like Daphne from Frasier. You remind me a little of Nicole Kidman too. I blew up the picture and your eyes are beautiful! SOmething about you reminds me of Jackie O too. You have a classy look. Well, when you're not in the Hooters uniform anyway. ROFL
Beautiful - either way but I really like it. What color is it exactly? Auburn?
OK, you look a little like Martina McBride too. See for yourself: http://media.hamptonroads.com/images/fun/mcbride-martina170.jpg
WOW! Thanks, y'all!! I'll tell you one thing that's hard to get used to: waking up and looking in the mirror w/ dark hair...it is much more unforgiving than blonde!
It's funny everyone mentioned the tan. It really just looks darker in the pic for some reason. But...my facial tan is ALWAYS thanks to Coppertone Self-tanner. I have been using self-tanner since it first came out when I was still in high school! (Back then, you could only get it from Estee' Lauder, and it smelled of burnt toast!) I use it religiously, every other day. If I don't I become a lovely shade of fish-belly white.
And Jess, it is funny about the eyes. It's almost like I got a new set! The dark hair makes them stand out, and brings out the green, whereas with the blonde, the whites weren't as bright, and they looked more brown.
Anyway, it's really fun, and I think that you should all go and make some drastic change, and we can all say what famous movie star that you look like!
Hmmmm. I think the Daphne/E. Hurley combo comes pretty close to nailing it. Looks great!! It really is amazing the way it brings out your eyes!! How FUN!!!
LOL Melissa I'm afraid to do anything drastic wiht our vacation coming up in April. We have a wedding to go to. I'd like to go blonde but I don't think I'd keep up with the roots and Geo loves red. I do have to get a haircut though badly, they may talk me into color. ;-)
I agree with the eyes comments, they really do pop with the dark hair!! The Dude and I watched Taladega Nights this weekend and the entire time we kept thinking of Dy's post! LOL!!
As you well know, I am about to go drastic with my hair once again. Not sure about color for me though, have to talk to the stylist about up-keep. You know how I like to keep things simple.
You are an inspiration! :)
Youre pretty no matter what your hair color is!! I bet that its back to blond within 3 months :)
