It was a beautiful day for a football game! We had the best time on the field today. There was music, there were cheerleaders. The crowd was excited and on their feet. The rockin' beat started playing from the press box and the announcer said, "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, HERE COME YOUR BRUINS!!!!!!" The cheerleaders on the field had formed their lines and unfurled a banner for the Mighty Bruins, and they came charging through to the sound of all the cheering. Those kids felt 10 feet tall! It was such a great afternoon.
When we got home, Savannah made dinner. We got back kind of late from the game, so she whipped up a taco salad. The boys have declared that she makes "the best", and preceded to scarf down every morsel.
So, great Saturday afternoon.
I looked up Danielle, on Big Brother. Lets just say that my old produce guy really creeps me out even more. ew. Danielle's a looker. "My twin", he said. (snort!!)Whatever. But the funniest thing is that on the profile next to her picture it says that the job that she left to be on Big Brother was at H@@ters!!! (DO you think that he knows my history ? ) bwahaha! (shudder).
Em, I am not doing the Grey's Anatomy.....I don't know....at this point it's just to hold out and say that I'm the only one not watching. (shrug) Got "Deadliest Catch" though, and that rocks! And thanks for The Soup recommendation....that gives funny, mindless tv a whole new name! And WTG on the forsight to get the Big sized TIVO.
Anyone else? any new shows?? C'mon Anniesue, I KNOW you gotta be watchin' something!;-)

First of all, Happy Birthday! I always comfort myself with this...since I'm not taller or thinner than you, at least I'm younger...haha.
Next, I'm so glad football is going so well. I can't imagine how much Race hates that he's missing it but I know you're there supporting Jack.
Okay...I watch plenty...and that includes Big Brother, but I'm not sure if you would think the comparison was a compliment. Janelle was on 2 seasons and I disliked her the first time and liked her the second. We also watch "My Name is Earl," which you have mentioned before.
However, we've been watching a lot of cooking shows lately. Gordon Ramsay is our new favorite, despite the fact that he curses more than anyone I've ever heard.
Like you, I haven't jumped on the Grey's Anatomy bandwagon. I know people love it, but there just isn't time to watch everything.

Awww, thanks for the birthday wish! But now I'm thoroughly confused. It's Danielle, not Janelle.....doesn't matter what she acts like...what does she LOOK like? Produce man asked me AGAIN today......."watch it", he says,"You'll be amazed...you look exactly like her", he says. He creeps me out. He's OLD...should he be watching Big Brother?
Duhhh...may I start over? I was thinking Janelle from past seasons...but now you've straightened me out. I don't really connect you with Danielle...she has issues. I am guessing it's the hair color.

BWAHAHAHA!! I am loving all of the Big Brother talk!! I may just have to tune in to find out what Danielle looks like.
After we got home I looked at the Tivo list and we also record, Supernanny (it makes me feel good about my parenting skills), we are giving the Home Makeover a try this season, Survivor, Amazing Race and The Unit are keepers as well. Little People Big World is a strange addiction that I have. Also shows like Fat March and The Biggest Loser (can't explain it). Other weird ones are Kids by the Dozen and Dirty Jobs.
We are all about the funny and the strange in this house!
