What can I say????

No need to try and recap, so I'll just go from here.....

Race is still away, but we've been communicating regularly, which is nice.

Jack, Savannah and I started school yesterday. So far so good, everything running smoothly.

Austin is away with the Boy Scouts in the Keys on a sail boat for the week.(Yes, yes, we ALL want to be Austin).

Hey! ANd how about Dy's news????!!!!!!!! She and Zorak must be like rabbits, man.(I only say it, because I know she'll laugh.)

In other less important news, I'll give ya a run down on the activity schedule for this fall. For Jack: Mixed Martial Arts(working on the black belt)& football, For Savannah: Riding lessons & pilates, For Austin: Boy Scouts(working toward the Eagle Scout),Mixed Martial Arts(working on the Black belt), Jiu Jitsu(working on the blue belt). And don't forget about the once monthly orthodontist and once weekly Speech therapist! As of tomorrow, we'll be in full swing with everything. Oh yeah- the basement.....ie, the boy's bedrooms, still aren't finished. Ugh.

The only thing keeping me from shaving my head and ramming a parked car with an umbrella is the fact that I got a very cute haircut today! Now, I wish that I could take creative licensing for this cut, but alas, I bow down in awe to the fashionista who can take credit on this one. I got ..........."the Pob". YOu know, the Vic Beckham bob?! O.K., not QUITE as drastic in the back and sides, but....those BANGS! I got em' !! I love it!!Oh thank-you, thank-you haircutting-genius-whose-name-is-jennifer.......(with hushed reverence),thank-you.
I know, I know, I need a picture. But c'mon, I can't come back full force all in one night! I'll try to get a good pic of the cut.
O.K., I'm going to go stare in the mirror and watch my hair move.
Thanks for the comments, and for checking back here!

I left you a reply to your questions back on my blog. I can't wait to see your new haircut, I would love to do something drastic but the last time I got alot of it cut I cried for weeks. It sounds like you all are really busy too and you have 3 to run around, I don't know how you do it with Race gone. Because of the age difference with my 3 the most I've had to run to different places was 2, thank God. I so agree, I want to be Austin right now. Sailing, being on the water, count me in. We are getting ready to start on our basement to give Wayne his own room and maybe get a family room so you will have to let us know how you all are coming along. Welcome back, you've been missed.

I do pity you the fact that Race is not home right now to get the football stuff. I don't know what I would do without Rusty. Like Race, he also was headed to college on a full ride football scholarship but a bad field and a blown out knee took care of that. He's 38 and he's already had a total knee replacement.

Poor Rusty! That totally stinks. What school did he get the full ride from? MAybe he and Race would have met up. Race went to Tenn. Tech.

He was headed to VMI, he wanted to be a career Marine. He spent weekends down there for games, on the sidelines with the players loving every minute of it. What position did Race play? That's a question from Rusty. He played center.

Oh, by the way, how did practice go today? Did the cup work out ok? I always worry about that kind of stuff too. Rusty is coaching 4 teams this year so we are spending alot of time at the field. Pray for me.

I wanna see the hair! I wanna see the hair!

Something must be in the air; I'm about ready to go shorter, too. Much shorter. My oldest already did and my younger dd is contemplating it...

You're right, I did laugh. Who knew this would be the thing I did best, huh?

Anxiously praying for a family reunion that's joyful and wonderful and everything you guys deserve!
