Our Fountain of Humor

Things stated by Jackson recently:
* While eating scrambled eggs, and sliced bananas for breakfast one morning, he pondered aloud , "Savannah, isn't it neat how we can eat stuff that's yellow?" "I wonder about that sometimes".

* After opening his toy from a Happy Meal, he excitedly exclaimed, "Oh Savannah, Look what it DOES!!" "Oooooo.....and look our toys are SIMULAR" (then murmering "simaler, simler") "Man, and I thought that these objects would be USELESS!"

* Over the last few days, he has been randomly using the word "Pilates", in any way that he can. When asked why, he stated with a shrug, "I dunno, I just like the sound of it". "What DOES "pilates" mean , anyway?".

* While I was putting away laundry, Jack came into my room and immediately began groovin' to some music that I suppose only he could hear. This child has more rythm and soul in his little 7 year old body, than an African drum circle. He said, "See this dance I'm doin?" I nodded. "My conscience taught it to me." "Really?", I said incredulously, "What is your conscience?" "You know......that little man who talks to you inside your head"( He is starting to get a little winded now, because he's still groovin'). "Oh?", I say, starting to calculate the therapy bills in my head. "Yeah, he taught it to me......like on Fred Flintstone". Ohhhhhhh...O.K.

Well, it IS fascinating that we can eat yellow things. I totally get that.

He's a riot. I'm so glad you're writing this stuff down.
