I started this blog to keep the husband/father of this happy home up to speed with what goes on here while he is off making the world a safer place. We will refer to him as "Race" (You know..Race Bannon... from Johnny Quest?).
We are Christian in our religion, and conservative, in our politics.
We home school our guinea pigs,-er- I mean , our kids. Our life is not "the norm", but, with Divine Grace, we're makin' it work, and usually having a good time in the process!

PARTRIDGE CREEK IN THE SNOW Savannah and I (and Scout & Jeb) took a walk down the "Big Hill" behind our house to our creek this morning. I had to post these pictures.

That's a beautiful sight! Looks like Savannah and the pups were enjoying the snowy morning. I can't think of a more peaceful place than the woods when it's snowing. Love, Mom
