Learning to say "No kidding" in Korean, is something that I feel that I should DEFINITLY know. Thanks Cribchick! And after hearing Gem's story......well, I believe the price of a pedicure for me, just went up! I'm guesin' it's pricier salon ped.'s from here on out.
Yesterday, we were taking down our pool, (yes, we have one of THOSE...don't laugh, we like it), and we were about to pull up the ground cloth that looks as if it has been fused to the earth beneath it. Jack comes over excitedly and says, "Oooohhhh, who knows what manner of mother natures adventures waits for us under there?" *bink blink* Where did this child come from? Later in the day, I was in the bathroom drying my hair, when I see this same little boy streaming down the (significant) hill by the window, perched cartoon-like, inside a wheelbarrow. I drop the hair dryer and rush to the window. Just before it crashes, he bails out, never hits the ground.....and then crouches down looking for bugs. His death-defying feats will surely make me age waaayyy before my time.
Today is packed full with lessons, martial arts, jiu jitsu, and ballet.I've gotta get going!
Have a great day!!!!!!

What a cool, cool, kid. James came over to see the pictures and said, "That looks really cool!"
Enjoy your busy day. Enjoy your awesome kids.
My best guess is that either Race, or your Dad, one of the two was totally into this stuff as a little boy. ;-) He's in good company.

Love, love, love the pics! Your boys are awesome! I've got a samurai jack also... the one who sets carpets afire. His favorite trick (and the one GUARANTEED to make all other watching mothers scream and try and stop him) is the one where he vaults headfirst from the top arc of a moving swing, flips his legs over his head, and lands on his feet just in time to duck down and avoid the empty swing before it hits him on the head. He only does it when there are LOTS of other moms watching him.
P.S. The word recognition made me type in bmbfukze. I might have to use that as my new cuss word.
That kid is a RIOT!!!!! You just gotta love him.
Love the pics--the trampoline samurais are killing me! Tell the boys to bring their samurai gear to the beach. I see some MAJOR aunt vs. nephew sword fights in the near future. ;0)
The photos are living proof that your children are well-rounded. These kids do it all, huh?
What was he cookin', btw? I'm guessing mom was blogging and the boys were hungry so they rustled up their own grub? Be glad when that can happen around here. (I'm not wishing their lives away, just looking at a bright spot in the future.) At this point they just tap me on the back a million times and repeat what they want--"Mama, I want some shoclet." (That's Mattie asking for chocolate milk.) Will does occasionally pull a bar stool over to the cabinet and get an applesauce or poptart.
I'm trying to envision the wheelbarrow stunt. WHERE do children get their ideas?
Hope you have a wonderful day; it sounds busy.

The pictures are so good! What was J cooking? As far as his death-defying feats making you age before your time, LOOK AT ME,those 3 wheelers did it! Love, Mom
What a well rounded kid!!! He seems quite self sufficient! Nice work, Mom!
Too Funny!! The Dude said the wheel barrow act could be a peek into our future with W. AHHH!! :)
See you at the beach!
Glad I could help -- that IS scary, isn't it? If it was an e-mail I had received (this happened to a friend of a friend of mine), I'd never believe it!
