I started this blog to keep the husband/father of this happy home up to speed with what goes on here while he is off making the world a safer place. We will refer to him as "Race" (You know..Race Bannon... from Johnny Quest?).
We are Christian in our religion, and conservative, in our politics.
We home school our guinea pigs,-er- I mean , our kids. Our life is not "the norm", but, with Divine Grace, we're makin' it work, and usually having a good time in the process!

Wow, Savannah is indeed the artist! I take it she likes cats. :)
It seems like getting ready to go on vacation demands more work than would be required if you stayed home and worked the whole time. Why is that? If you're like me, it's kind of a benchmark. I plan all these jobs to accomplish "before vacation."
Nice shootin', Annie Oakley. Couldn't tell yours from his. OK, maybe just barely. Shooting isn't for me--requires too much concentration and is too loud. I do it occasionally just to not be afraid of a gun, but not for fun. Guess I'll stick to my toy tractor shows. (heehee).
ROFLOL! Mine are usually "the other ones", too. I hate, hate, hate sighting in. And Zorak just stands back, uttering encouraging words, and then chuckling. HEY NOW?!?! I'm glad you are enjoying time together, and getting to be a better shot.
Sounds like a busy, busy time for you all. I'm slightly envious, but in an encouraging way. :-)
Fancy shootin', thar, Tex! The cooler weather always stirs in my soul the memories of the smell of gun powder and the pleasant sensation of recoil against ones hand or shoulder...aaahhhhh.
Savannah is amazing. Just amazing.I cn't wait to get to the beach and do some drawing with her. Only 4 more days!!!!!!!!!!!! :0D
