O.K., so someone has to go to the store tomorrow. We are out of saltines, and running low on butter.

Race and I have been cleaning out our unfinished basement (which we hope to have "finished" sometime before we die). It has turned out to be quite the undertaking, but we are making progress. One of the problems is all of Race's stuff. He has A LOT of STUFF. Not junk, mind you. But stuff for work. Each job, each trip, each country requires different protective gear, weaponry, techno gadgetry, etc. So we are in the process of trying to figure out the best way to organize the "Go Room". I will say again, it is quite an undertaking. And Thank-heavens that EM has an awesome Ebay business, and can sell some of this stuff for us!

I took the boys to martial arts, and Savannah and I ran around and picked up a few last minute items, and of course got coffee (she got a frap).

We are trying to convince Races mom to let us fly her up and spend a few days with us, and we are REALLY hoping that that works out. We would LOVE to see her.

Thomasina is coming over for dinner tomorrow night. We are having Crab Bisque. Maybe a crisp salad on the side? Oooo...and I have a treat! I got the stuff to make Cosmopolitans! What a pretty cocktail! Don't know about dessert yet. Any ideas? Nothing too rich, because the Bisque is chock full of cream. We are looking forward to hearing about her latest adventures at the whole Matchmaker thing, (since, OBVIOUSLY she isn't EVER going to post about it!), and also showing her our London pictures. Can't wait!

G'night!
Melissa

What about like a fruit sorbet? Easy. lol I saw a commercial for cheesecake brownies and now I'm craving but that's kinda rich.

Anyway, I'm saving up for the bypass you'll need from ingesting all those saltines and butter...rofl

Don't forget to utilize ceiling space in your basement. Hang lots of things!

Your dinner sounds lovely and I sure hope Races mom can come out just for a bit...

We have gone down to our basement so many times and cleaned that it has become a joke in our family. We clean, then we find more stuff upstairs that we don't know what to do with but you might need it so you "put it in the basement". One day it will be clean. But like Scarlett I will worry about that tomorrow. Good luck on the basement and don't you just love that saltine recipe. Merry Christmas.

SALTINE TOFFEE!!!

Sure hope Andree' can come. We would love to see her and be able to visit for a while.

Good luck with the "Go Room".

Love, Mom

I don't envy you! I hate cleaning out Kevin's stuff, especially since he has an affinity for garbage, UGH!!! Literally, garbage and Home Depot dumpsters. LOL!
