I started this blog to keep the husband/father of this happy home up to speed with what goes on here while he is off making the world a safer place. We will refer to him as "Race" (You know..Race Bannon... from Johnny Quest?).
We are Christian in our religion, and conservative, in our politics.
We home school our guinea pigs,-er- I mean , our kids. Our life is not "the norm", but, with Divine Grace, we're makin' it work, and usually having a good time in the process!

Prior to being forced to strip naked on the porch to run in "Straight to the tub!"......
It's good to be a kid in the country, where mud is not a forbidden pleasure. Brings back mem'ries of the Great Mud Fight of '81(smiling fondly with a distant look upon my face).
