We had a productive Wednesday! Don't you just love days like that?
The house is clean.
We got a computer moved into Savannah's room-(no internet) She is quite the writer, and this will end the stuggle for computer time on our laptop. She is quite thrilled with the arangement. I taught her how to set it up, and she is already becoming quite familiar with all of the settings and exploring all of the changes that she can make.
We cut and hauled some brush and saplings from one side of our yard. We are trying to let some of these beautiful dogwoods get a little breathing room. It is starting to look really nice.
We planted one row of corn, and three rows of different types of beans. We will put the rest of the corn in successively as this begins to come up. Still have to make a trellis for the cucmbers.
Jack planted sunflowers at the back of the garden.
We had salmon patties, mixed green salad, and baked potato for dinner.
Right after dinner the neighbors called. They came down for a visit. Jack played with R. and I sat and talked with R.'s mom until 8:30.
I ran on Tuesday , but it was much harder to pace myself, and keep going without my personal trainer! Last night I rode the stationary bike in front of a DVD, and did what felt like a million squats. Legs are smoked! But I did it, and even got in a little reading before hitting the hay.
Race is away on another trip. The good news is that I will be flying out to join him this weekend. I can hardly wait! BUT. I just realized that my "summer attire" is sadly lacking. This is a posh, swanky hotel , and my garden shorts and flip flops probably aren't going to cut it! Sooooooo....amidst getting my hair trimmed, the martial arts, ballet lessons, and baseball game, I must find something stunning to wear......and.....and...and....a SWIMSUIT is going to be required! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not ready, I tell you!!!! I am not ready!!! The tanning I can manage, but if any of you gals know of a swimsuit on the market that holds up your b**bs, lifts your butt, and sucks in your waist.....I beg of you...email me.
And now, I must embark upon the impossible (see above paragraph). I will not faint. I shall overcome. BWAWAWAWaaaa!!!!!
Y'all have a great day!
Melissa

Enjoy your trip. I am so bummed that we couldn't get together one more time before we headed south, but sure do hope we can plan a camping trip in TN at some point this summer. *hint, hint, nudge, nudge*
