Poor Jack

Jack played all day yesterday in the only speed that the child has: overdrive. At dinner time, he went to the table, looked at his food, and got up from his chair and collapsed in the floor. Now, this in and of itself isn't very unusual for a child who is prone to dramatics. I figured that he was tired. I told him that he could go and lay down in my bed. He did. Immediately. Now, THAT's when I knew something wasn't quite right. Within 15 minutes, he was sound asleep, and didn't wake up until this morning. He has had a fever since about 9 pm, and is still sleeping deleriously in aforementioned bed right now. Wierd. No other symptoms.
So, I have one sick, feverish child and two others who have full activity/social schedules this afternoon. In addition, I will need to get through school lessons with the older two. It's gonna be a busy day folks!
Have a great day everyone!
Melissa

Sounds like maybe the BUG has traveled to Amherst. I hope you have plenty of Tylenol and Ibuprophen on hand, along with lots of juice. Sure hope he will be feeling lots better real soon. Tell him Pap-pa and Mam-ma send him "get well wishes and prayers". So glad to hear that your garden is growing! I know you've been watching it closely for the first sign of growth. Ours is just sort of sitting there. Still have a lot of stuff to plant. Can't seem to really get in the mood this year. I did plant some tomato plants on the balcony yesterday. Well, hope you get everything done that needs to be done today. The rest of it will wait for you. Love, Mom

Poor fella. I hope he's back to his overactive little self soon.

Yay! The earth is bringing forth her fruits to reward your labors! Fresh veggies, here you come!

Aw, you know he's got to be miserable if he's not going to eat or play. {{hugs}} If we were nearby, we could sit w/ him while you run hither and yon w/ your other active ones. I hope you get some quiet, peaceful, healthy time this weekend.

Oooo- garden! FUN!

AAHHH!!! I am so sorry!! Yes, I am the mother of the carrier monkies!!
That is exactly how it started with Q & W. Luckily, it seems to run its course in 48 hours. The throat may be soar, tonsils swollen and gross.
Please tell Jack I am sooo sorry!!
Next time you guys are here feel free to sneeze on all of our door knobs...or something else...'cause that's just sick!
Get well soon, Jack!
