Savannah went to her first day of Theatreworks today. She loved it. The theme is Peter Pan. She loves her teacher and said, "She made me feel right at home,Mom".
Have you ever read the original Peter Pan? What an excellent book! While I enjoyed the Disney movie just fine, they really missed the essence of that book (gasp!). Great read aloud.
The bathroom remodel is almost complete. I got the new pedastal sink put in yesterday, with a new brushed nickel faucet. It looks so nice. And if I could......just.....take care......of that..one ..drip...we'd be golden (argh!). I wish that I had a "before" picture of the room, because it was such a hole. I installed an excruciatingly difficult light fixture today. Simple fixture, should have taken about 15 minutes-took over an hour. VERY frustrating.
We are still plugging along on the standardized testing, in an attempt to stay legal with the state. Should have them done tomorrow.
I talked to Race for a minute this morning. We are all having a rough time of it. It would be great to be together for a bit.
I'll write more later, I've got to figure out what we're having for dinner, and seeing that it is 4:00, that's not looking too good!

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time right now with Race not home. We are keeping you in our prayers and our thoughts. We do need some pictures of the finished project.

OOOO....I hope you are taking notes on the bathroom remodel as I am about to undertake the same project. I will probably be calling you a lot for pointers. Since we only have the one bathroom if I screw it up we are in for a world of trouble! You guys are always in our prayers. Can't wait to see you all at the end of the month!
