I started this blog to keep the husband/father of this happy home up to speed with what goes on here while he is off making the world a safer place. We will refer to him as "Race" (You know..Race Bannon... from Johnny Quest?).
We are Christian in our religion, and conservative, in our politics.
We home school our guinea pigs,-er- I mean , our kids. Our life is not "the norm", but, with Divine Grace, we're makin' it work, and usually having a good time in the process!
I love the cereal wig. I wish we lived closer, I know Blake and Jackson would be great friends. They seem to like the same things. So....you're getting out of the football this fall, how did you manage that? Blake loves football so he wants to play and I'm glad, our fall ball isn't very good here and I want him to stay active year round. He loves to play in the spring though.

Oh, my gosh. I can't believe he's 11! The party does look like such fun. Has he had a chance to break in his kayak, yet?
