Urban Mom tagged me the other day, and I am just now getting around to filling this out.


A. Attached or Single? Totally and Forever Wonderfully Attached! 18 years and going strong!

B. Best Moment? Almost 39 years and you want me to try to pick a moment?? This is not “the best” but I did have a pretty good one recently, I was going rock climbing for the first time and getting to the top and touching that carabineer! What a rush!

C. Cake or Pie? Cake. Chocolate, please.

D. Day of choice? Any day that I can spend with Race. They are far too few and we both covet them.
E. Essential item(s)? coffee in the a.m., bare essentials minerals, jeans, lip gloss, water bottle, Phyto hair products to keep my bleached blonde hair from breaking off, and this isn’t an item, but it is essential that I have at least 30 minutes to unwind by myself at the end of the day.
F. Favorite color?: Pink

G. Gummy bears or worms? neither, I prefer sour patch kids

H. Home town? in Virginia

I. Favorite indulgence(s)? Dinner and a cocktail with Race, expensive shoes and handbags

J. January or July? July

K. Kids? 16 year old boy, 14 year old girl and 11 year old boy who are all too old to be mine. They are without a doubt my greatest challenge and my greatest reward.

L. Life isn't complete without? Race. It’s as if God took my list “wants” for a husband and one-upped me by giving me the man I could have never dreamed existed.

M. Marriage date? July21, 1990 It was a HOT, HOT July day in the south. My bridesmaids were threatened with guns to wear perfectly pink billowy taffetta dresses, and the church was lined with giant pink bows. The carriage ride from the church to my parents house for the outdoor reception was………HOT. And I loved every minute of it.

N. Number of brothers and sisters? Two sisters, no brothers. Grew up on a farm. Learned to throw hay bales and drive trucks and tractors early on in life. Boyfriends came in handy later for that sort of thing.

P. Phobias? Being over or under dressed.

Q. Quotes: Oh, I can’t think of even ONE right now, and this is taking too long. I have CHEMISTRY to do, still!

R. Reasons to smile? Because I have a web cam and I got to see Race today. This is the first time that he’s been away that we were able to do that. I could see his face, read his expressions, and just know how much we missed each other. We could just sit and stare with these goofy expressions. Too funny.

S. Season of choice? Spring or fall


U. Unknown Fact about me? Not Unknown but little known: I have a tatoo. It is on my left , inside heel and it is the Christian fish symbol.

V. Vegetable? Love em‘ all as long as they are fresh, but I think that the ones that I grow myself taste the best!!.

W. Worst habit? absent mindedly laying my sunglasses down and forgetting where they are.

X. X-ray or ultrasound? ultrasound??? What the hell kind of question is that??

Y. Your favorite food? Anything well prepared, with many flavors. I was raised to LOVE good food, and I do!

Z. Zodiac sign? Virgo.
