Here we are all ready to go out for dinner and a show. And for the record...I am almost 5'6. I'm think'in I got me some tall kids!!Jackson has decided that he does not look nice when he smiles, so this is new picture expression. I do however like the pose....which he also strikes in every picture now. Oh- and did I mention that he shaved? (sigh) His older brother was mortified and cried out, "JACK! You DO NOT want to do that!! YOU'LL HAVE A FULL BEARD BY THE TIME YOU'RE TWELVE!! You'll be a little freak!" We had a great time tonight. The musical was absolutely amazing. I was doing just fine until the kings bowed on their faces before the baby Jesus and the 300 person choir got to the chorus of O'Holy Night. Oh. My. goodness. I lost it. I was bawling. It was absolutely beautiful.
We had a lovely night and a wonderful dinner. The kids had shrimp and crabcakes and scallops!! We did it up right. Race was greatly missed. He would have loved this evening.
And NOW for tonight's viewing pleasure we are watching The Happy Elf. First of all....we like this little cartoon....and secondly..I have always been secretly in love with Harry Connick Jr, and I'll watch the WHOLE thing just to hear him sing.
Tomorrow is church and the kids have a Christmas party to go to tomorrow night. They are busy trying to one-up each other on the white elephant gift that they are taking to the party
