Austin says "Thank-You" to everyone who congratulated him on making the All Star team.

Dy, You asked about the memorizing the lists. We just learn 5 a week. The older two have to keep a list in their notebooks. They add 5 new names each week. They have to quiz each other on them a few times a week. Jack just does them aloud only. We do memory work in the morning before Bible reading (because otherwise I forget to do it!). Sometimes we go around the table and take turns. The kids actually enjoy it, and the funny thing is that memorization is quite the equalizer. Sometimes Jack does better than Austin and Savannah.....which REALLY puts the pressure on the older two to work at it! Those young brains seem to memorize with ease! You'd be surprised how many captured critters were named Ethelred this week! My OLD brain has to cheat and use the list a lot!
