I am having a great day!!
First thing this morning, I got a call from the sexiest man in the whole Middle Eastern desert who was calling to wish me a Happy Birthday. This guy just happens to be my husband, the Amazing Race. It was so awesome to talk to him and see his face that for a moment I forgot that he is in the middle of a war zone.
The kids showered me with cards and birthday wishes. We finished school, and then just before I went out the Fed Ex guy delivered a LOBSTER GRAM to me, sent by Em and The Dude as a thank-you for watching the boys during their difficult time. What an AWESOME surprise!!! So, I went out, got my nails done and then stopped by the store for corn on the cob, new potatoes, and white wine. I called my sister and she is coming over to help me celebrate. We're cooking lobster tonight folks!! I'll have pictures tomorrow.
So, it's been a great day so far. Everyone has just been super nice to me! From Race, to the kids, to the family, to my best friend, to my cyber friends, to the nail tech, to the produce guy,(O.K., he's actually always nice), to the nice check-out boy who carded me for the wine and then said, "Have a nice birthday!"
Woo-HOO!! It's my last birthday of the 30's!! It's a night of family, lobsters, wine and some much anticipated political speeches!!
