O.K., so today, I paid for the fun that we had last night. The morning didn't exactly go smoothly. But, more importantly, I didn't sweat it, and did NOT have a melt down. We got all the important stuff done, and then, headed out to pick up Thomasina. We had to haul her out to pick up her car, so we visited while we drove.
When we got home, our neighbor girl called (17 yr old gal through the woods next door), and she wanted to come over and kill some time. So, I said "sure", and she came over and hung out with us for awhile. She had dinner, and chatted (and chatted) away.
Race got the package that we sent him today! YAY! Have I mentioned how much we miss him? I have been having the worst time sleeping for the past few weeks. I wake up in the middle of the night. EVERY night. Grrrrr... I do not have small children.....I should be sleeping. Very frustrating. Perhaps I could hire myself out to the mothers of young children, who would gladly give an appendage for a good nights sleep. "Hey, no problem! I'm up anyway!" Any takers?
G'night,
Melissa

I am so sorry you're not sleeping. I know you need it with all of your responsibilities. Hope you find some zzz's soon.
Had you offered the sleepless nights anytime before Mattie reached 18 mos., I'd have taken you up on it in a heartbeat. She sleeps through the night now AND I get a Sunday afternoon nap. I feel like a regular person again!
Schooling wasn't so smooth for us today either. Maybe there's something in the air. Will had his least attentive day to date. I'm sure it won't be the last. :(
Prayers for you to rest and to have your honey home soon.

Yes! Come! HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, now that that's over with. Sounds like you're keeping busy. Are you still running? Might want to juggle that around a bit and see if you can help knock yourself out better at night. {{hugs}} Not too much longer. Really. I know these things. :-)

Thnaks again for the ride. I enjoyed the theological discussion.
Are you taking your melatonin? If that fails, you can always pull out the ole Benadryl for a night. Maybe it would break the whole, crummy waking-up cycle you're stuck in.
Always prayin for y'all.
DIBS!! You are hired!!
Melissa: I use to wake up like that, but when I did I seemed to be wide a wake, so I would say a prayer. I was told one time that sometimes you wake up because there is someone you should pray for. The next time I woke up someone came to mind, so I would pray for that person. Maybe it is your prayer time. Maybe that is the time Race wakes up where he is and maybe you both are waking up at the same time. Just my thoughts on the subject.
