Today will be a busy one, and it looks like the rain that is falling outside is going to settle in and stay for awhile. (One can only hope, as the ground is so dry here, that I do believe that I hear a sucking noise as it soaks in the rain).
Took a long walk with Jack yesterday. We wnt down to the creek, and walked all around the property. He LOVES this. He talked happily, and CONSTANTLY the whole time.
We have martial arts classes and ballet class today, and I will have a ton of errands to complete, while going back and forth.
Talked to Race this morning. We sure are missing him!

Isn't this rain wonderful! Thank the Lord!!!! When it rains after being so dry, I think of the story my daddy tells of his grandfather who, after a long dry spell, would tell the kids to get out of the rain and let every drop that could hit the ground.
Those out-of-doors walks, or as Mattie calls them, walks in the jungle, are fun, huh? We took a stroll yesterday in the drizzle. All was well besides the occasional "clothesline" by a spider web. :) (Will walked in front of Mattie and me with a small branch in the air to catch them, but he wasn't quite holding it high enough for me.)
