I started this blog to keep the husband/father of this happy home up to speed with what goes on here while he is off making the world a safer place. We will refer to him as "Race" (You know..Race Bannon... from Johnny Quest?).
We are Christian in our religion, and conservative, in our politics.
We home school our guinea pigs,-er- I mean , our kids. Our life is not "the norm", but, with Divine Grace, we're makin' it work, and usually having a good time in the process!

Only one of my young 'uns still needs help with carving a pumpkin, now. (sniff, sniff)
Melissa, that is the best picture of you!!!! You look wonderful! I hope you had a great time....everything looks great and the kids' costumes are too cool. Maybe Savannah could come work for the Big Man in the future.
Oooo....I'll TAKE that compliment, Anniesue! Thank-you, thank-you! And be careful there, that almost sounds like a job offer....Growing up in the rest.business was an awesome experience for me and my sisters, because you were FORCED to learn to deal with people, deal with food, and deal with money! Excellent training!

I totally agree with Anniesue. You look great! Orange must be your color. Maybe you were a pumpkin in another life?!?!
BTW, I got by without carving a pumpkin this year. The painted one from Grandma did the trick!

Wow...I can't hear that phrase often enough, "I totally agree with Anniesue"...if only more people held that philosophy. Ha!
