I am just too tired to blog.
We had the greatest dinner over at Thomasina's house tonight. She fixed an amazing roasted dove and quail, with an apple relish, scalloped potatoes, fried green tomatoes w/ gravy, and french rolls. Not only was it delicious, but it was all presented so beautifuly. The kids and I had a wonderful time.
I am exhausted. Way too tired to try to put together anything the slightest bit coherent. It has been a Looooong day. Add to this the fact that I got 2 emails from Race tonight, both of which were about $$$$ stuff, and the fact that my youngest decided to playfully headbutt me in the face while I was tucking him in tonight.
Luckily other people in blog world have much more intelligent, and funny things for you to read than I could ever produce, even on my best day. So, First you MUST go and read Dy's Blog because, well, she has just, like, laid out the key to all happiness....so that's worth a look, right? Then, head over to The Crib Chick's Place because she has given some EXCELLENT parenting advice that parents actually never hear anymore. So, you don't want to miss that, right? Then, prepare yourself, because THIS is so funny that you could actually harm yourself. Seriously, it's that funny.
I am off to bed. And Dy and Jill, I think that reading your blogs this morning are the only things that got me through the day without "blowing it". Thanks
G'night all
Melissa

Yeah.. *ahem* You probably want to change that link to go directly to the "Living Intentionally" entry... or I'm going to have to go post a "Backpedaling" entry to clarify. The scary thing is that today actually qualifies as a success! Yes, it's gotten that bad. I've been refusing to DO anything with my life, one stoopid week at a time, b/c of this house... for two and a half months! MONTHS. Der. I'm a nerd. But, if I can make you laugh with my idiocy and Don Quixote-like delusions of grandeur, then it's worth it. I'm golden, man!! Now, where's my horse?
Ouch. {{hugs}} on the headbutt. I know they mean well, but it's like trying to raise mutant squirrels sometimes.
Tomorrow will be VONDERFUL, Dahling! Simpleee Vonderful! ;-)
