A pocketknife... er, another pocketknife always cheers up an under-the-weather young man!

Would love to see those boots - how FUN! Glad you clarified on the alpine skiing - had me worried there for a sec. ;-D

Hope you have a wonderful week.

Dy! You're right! whittling is something that can be done with very little energy exertion! Genius! Thanks!

I love the boots so much, that I am going to post a picture of them. I LOVE THEM!!!

And yes, the skiing, the parachuting..those are my old man's. There is no doubt about where the youngest get's his phobia of clothing from. (sigh)

I seem to recall a few of those streaks. My mom likes to tell about a little girl knocking at the neighbors door with her red snow boots on and nothing else. Always did like cold weather! I guess it runs in the family. Scott had the same problem, couldn't keep shorts on him, but then it was rather hot here.

I have another recipe for you. It is called "Buttery sopps". It is basically the same only with warm water.Yucky! Gammy said she's game if you are. This came from a 98 year old. Oh those good old home remidies!

I hope everyone is feeling better. It's bad when everybody gets sick and there's not enough buckets to go around.

I'll call later.
