O.K. Yesterday was so busy, and the rest of the week ahead just looks like a blur. I did get my hair cut. I will live. AND I am going to have my color done next week which is supposed to take about 3 HOURS!! Ack! Hopefully it will all turn out, and I will look smashing when Race returns home. Thomasina got in an art lesson with Savannah while I was gone, and Jack and Austin are both on the mend now. We cleaned the house furiously after lunch, and brought it back to a much more pleasing state of existence. Then I was struck by the overwhelming desire to go and check out the new store Burlington Coat factory which just opened up here in town. This was at 3:00!! I rarely ever leave the house voluntarily in the afternoon. I was able to incite excitement among the children by the lure of a previously unexplored toy department. You just don't know WHAT could be there! I LOVE that store! Oh the bargains! But I resisted the temptation of all of those cute strappy heels for spring...........for now. We ended up going to Barnes and Noble (picked up a new science book, and of course.....a coffee), Target (whose toy dept. is grandly superior to Bur. Coat Factory, in case you are wondering), Wal-Mart (forgot my list and had to wing it), Lowes (I am now hauling a GE Nautilus dishwasher around in the back of the suburban), and Taco Bell. The kids had taken their money, and acquired a few very important items. Jack got a pack of baseball cards and a cool new "squishy lizard", Savannah got a bargain on a stuffed Donald Duck toy, and Austin purchased a new baseball mag, 2 packs of cards, and more card pages to hold them. As I look back over this, I realize that I passed up the cute shoes, but bought a SCIENCE book? What does this say about me? WHO am I?
Today is going to be LONG. We have lessons, ballet, 2 hrs of martial arts, and then a Parents meeting for baseball......it starts.
Also, if you should have a GE Nautilus dishwasher, and you hate it..? I don't want to know. Thanks.
I wanted to let Gammy know that we are thinking about her and praying for her. Get well soon Gammy!
